Somewhere In The Meadow

Somewhere in the Meadow is an original impressionist flower field painting — 36" x 36", oil on canvas — by Washington, DC–based contemporary artist Maria-Victoria Checa.

This vibrant original landscape painting depicts a lush wildflower meadow stretching between rolling green hills beneath a dramatic, cloud-filled sky. Thick, expressive palette-knife and brushstrokes build vibrant layers of pinks, blues, purples, yellows, and greens, creating movement and depth across the composition. The moody, textured sky adds tension and atmosphere above the meadow, making the color and abundance below feel even more alive.

A serene yet vibrant original wildflower painting perfect for collectors, interior designers, and lovers of expressive contemporary landscape art.
